Lettered Edition Details

The print run is limited to 26 copies, each containing 314 pages with a trimmed page size of 240 x 170mm.

Signed by Gregory Manchess (artist) and Merlin Holland (foreword contributor).

Printed letterpress on 160gsm Magnani Pescia 100% cotton mould-made paper by Phil Abel and Robert Hetherington of Hand and Eye Letterpress. Black ink throughout, with two colours on the title, half title and signature pages.

10 tipped in colour plates with tissue guards, including frontispiece.

The Lettered edition is fully bound in finest, hand polished, black goatskin leather, supplied by Harmatan and Oakridge who are amongst the best book leather tanneries in the world.

There are five raised bands to the spine, with lettering and ornament stamped in gold. Lines around the bands are hand tooled in gold.

The front and back boards are foil blocked in four colours and eight passes using an ornamental design created by Gregory Manchess.

Marbled endpapers were designed and supplied by Freya Scott of Paperwilds.

The book blocks are hand gilded on three edges and come with a silk ribbon marker. Leather headcaps are sculpted over the endbands.

This book comes in a half-bound, black leather solander box with marbled sides. The trays are covered in burgundy cloth and lined with black suede. The lettering is stamped in gold to the rounded spine.

Inside the large tray of the box is an original pencil drawing by Gregory Manchess (please note that artwork will differ from the photographed example).

Any remaining copies of this edition not taken up by rights holders will be available by lottery only.

Lettered Edition Delivery Details

The cost of shipping is £25 in the UK and £55 for the rest of the world. The shipping cost is based on custom made boxes with foam, packing and booking time as well as the cost of the courier service.

All books will be packed into custom made, double walled cartons and surrounded by thick foam on six sides to ensure safe delivery.

Deliveries within the UK will be sent via a 24 hour courier. Delivery times elsewhere in the world will vary depending on your location, but we would hope that the books will largely be delivered within a few days at most. All services will be fully trackable and you will be sent a confirmation of shipping along with a tracking number when your parcel is booked with the courier. If you have a preferred courier service then do let us know and we will try our best to use them if they are available.

All international deliveries, including to the EU, now have full customs declarations. Any import taxes, customs duties or fees must be paid for by the recipient. Customs policies vary from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for more information. Customs clearance procedures may cause delays and extend our quoted delivery time estimates, for which we cannot be liable.
