Our latest release is ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ by L. Frank Baum. This title is presented in two states– the Lettered and the Numbered editions.
The Numbered edition is limited to 250 copies, the first 150 of which carry rights to the next title in the Lyra’s Classics series. Copies numbered 151-250 do not carry rights to the next title. The Lettered edition is limited to 26 copies, all of which carry rights to the next title in the Lyra’s Classics series.

All copies will be available to pre-order. Current rights holders will be given the opportunity to purchase their matching designations first and we will begin contacting those customers on Friday 19th April. Those customers will have until Tuesday 23rd April to make their purchase after which any unclaimed copies will be made available along with the non-rights copies.
After the rights holder period ends, all remaining copies of the Numbered edition will be available by lottery only. If you are successful, you will be notified which version (rights or non-rights) you have the opportunity to purchase before making a payment.
There may also be a lottery for any remaining copies of the Lettered edition.
The lotteries for both editions will open at midday BST (GMT+1) on Thursday the 25th of April and will be accessible on the product pages. The lottery forms will be open for 48 hours before we make the draw. If your name is selected, you will receive an email.
If there are copies of either edition still available after the lottery period ends, they will be made available on the shop pages where you will be able to purchase directly from the website.
We expect to finish the books around Autumn 2024.

Delivery Details
- All books will be packed into custom made, double walled cartons and surrounded by thick foam on six sides to ensure safe delivery.
- The cost of shipping is calculated by the cost of the packaging, the time it takes to pack and book the deliveries as well as the delivery cost itself.
- Deliveries within the UK will be sent via a 24-hour courier service. Delivery times elsewhere in the world will vary depending on your location, but we would hope that the books will largely be delivered within a few days. All services will be fully trackable and you will be sent a confirmation of shipping along with a tracking number when your parcel is booked with the courier. If you have a preferred courier service then do let us know and we will try our best to use them.
- All international deliveries, including to the EU, now have full customs declarations. Any import taxes, customs duties or fees must be paid for by the recipient. Customs policies vary from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for more information. Customs clearance procedures may cause delays and extend our quoted delivery time estimates.
PLEASE NOTE – We cannot currently deliver to Russia, Ukraine or Belarus.
