Printed letterpress on 140gsm Fedrigoni Arena Rough by Phil Abel and Robert Hetherington of Hand and Eye Letterpress. Printed in black with yellow spots throughout on a Heidelberg cylinder press using photopolymer plates.
This edition is newly illustrated by world renowned artist, Gary Gianni. There are 10 full-page colour paintings, plus 14 full-page black ink line drawings. Many of these images are spread across two pages and there are also multiple half-page and spot black and whites around or embedded in the text. All colour images are printed offset litho and sewn into the structure of the binding. All black and white images are letterpress printed to the page.
The Standard edition is bound as a cloth quarter binding with marbled sides. Marbled paper is handmade by Freya Scott of Paperwilds. This colourway of the Standard edition is bound with a gold buckram spine. Each book has a gold outlined letterpress printed label sunk into the front board.
The book comes in a straight edged, ochre cloth covered slipcase. The front of the slipcase is foil blocked with a Gary Gianni pyramid design. The inside of the slipcase is lined with a sandy pink coloured suedel.
Please be aware that there may be minor alterations to the design as we enter the production stage.
The Standard edition is limited to 500 unnumbered copies across two colourways. The final number of each colourway will be determined by customer preference and the orders we receive.
The Standard edition does not include rights to any future titles.

The cost of shipping is £25 in the UK and £55 for the rest of the world. The shipping cost is based on custom made boxes with foam, packing and booking time as well as the cost of the courier service.
All books will be packed into custom made, double walled cartons and surrounded by thick foam on six sides to ensure safe delivery.
Deliveries within the UK will be sent via a 48 hour courier. Delivery times elsewhere in the world will vary depending on your location, but we would hope that the books will largely be delivered within a few days at most. All services will be fully trackable and you will be sent a confirmation of shipping along with a tracking number when your parcel is booked with the courier. If you have a preferred courier service then do let us know and we will try our best to use them if they are available.
All international deliveries, including to the EU, now have full customs declarations. Any import taxes, customs duties or fees must be paid for by the recipient. Customs policies vary from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for more information. Customs clearance procedures may cause delays and extend our quoted delivery time estimates, for which we cannot be liable.
Please note – we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.
We expect to have the books finished and ready to ship late summer 2025.
