Numbered Edition Pre-Order Details

This edition is limited to 200 copies. The first 100 copies will be offered privately to current rights holders (those who are the registered owners of the Stardust ‘Leather’ edition) from the 12th to the 16th of SEPTEMBER. The next 100 copies, plus those not taken up by rights holders, will be available by public lottery ONLY. The lottery form will be open on this page from 12pm midday BST on the 17th of September to 12pm midday BST on the 19th of September. Winners will be notified by email on the following day (the 20th of September) and as to whether they have the option to purchase a copy with rights or without. This option to purchase will be in place for 48 hours from the timestamp of the notification email, after which any un-purchased copies will be offered to someone else. If we fail to sell all copies through the lottery, these copies will become available on the website at 7pm BST on the 28th of September at the same time as the public sale of the Standard edition.

Copies numbered 1-150 will carry rights to the next Lyra’s Press title and copies numbered 150-200 will not carry rights at all.

Read more about how the rights system works.

There is a ‘one entry per household’ rule in place for the lottery. Multiple entries will be deleted and you will be banned from this lottery.

Numbered Edition Delivery Details

The cost of shipping is £25 in the UK and £55 for the rest of the world. The shipping cost is based on custom made boxes with foam, packing and booking time as well as the cost of the courier service.

All books will be packed into custom made, double walled cartons and surrounded by thick foam on six sides to ensure safe delivery.

The cost of shipping is calculated by the cost of the packaging, the time it takes to pack and book the deliveries as well as the delivery cost itself.

Deliveries within the UK will be sent via a 24 hour courier service called APC Overnight. Delivery times elsewhere in the world will vary depending on your location, but we would hope that the books will largely be delivered within a few days. All services will be fully trackable and you will be sent a confirmation of shipping along with a tracking number when your parcel is booked with the courier. If you have a preferred courier service then do let us know and we will try our best to use them.

All international deliveries, including to the EU, now have full customs declarations. Any import taxes, customs duties or fees must be paid for by the recipient. Customs policies vary from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for more information. Customs clearance procedures may cause delays and extend our quoted delivery time estimates.

PLEASE NOTE – We cannot currently deliver to Russia, Ukraine or Belarus.

The books are being printed in the latter part of this year. The printing and the binding of this title is quite complex and we expect to have them all finished and ready to ship in the first half of 2023. Updates will be posted on social media and via the website subscriber email as we go.
