This edition is limited to 250 copies. The first 150 copies, numbered 1 – 150, will first be offered privately to current Lyra’s Classics rights holders (those who are the registered rights holders of A Christmas Carol). Any copies not taken up by current rights holders, as well as the remaining 100 copies (numbered 151 – 250) will be available by lottery ONLY. The lottery form will be open on this page from midday BST (GMT+1) on Thursday the 25th of April until midday BST (GMT+1) on Saturday the 27th of April. Winners will be notified by email within 48 hours. The option to purchase will be in place for 48 hours from the timestamp of the notification email, after which any unpurchased copies will be offered to someone else.

If we fail to sell all copies through the lottery, these copies will become available on the website shortly afterwards and you will be able to purchase directly through the shop page.

Only copies numbered 1 – 150 carry rights to the next Lyra’s Classics title

Read more about how the rights system works here.

There is a ‘one entry per household’ rule in place for the lottery. If we find multiple entries, they will be deleted and you will be banned from this lottery.

Numbered Edition Delivery Details

The cost of shipping is £25 in the UK and £55 for the rest of the world. The shipping cost is based on custom made boxes with foam, packing and booking time as well as the cost of the courier service.

All books will be packed into custom made, double walled cartons and surrounded by thick foam on six sides to ensure safe delivery.

Deliveries within the UK will be sent via a 24 hour courier. Delivery times elsewhere in the world will vary depending on your location, but we would hope that the books will largely be delivered within a few days at most. All services will be fully trackable and you will be sent a confirmation of shipping along with a tracking number when your parcel is booked with the courier. If you have a preferred courier service then do let us know and we will try our best to use them if they are available.

All international deliveries, including to the EU, now have full customs declarations. Any import taxes, customs duties or fees must be paid for by the recipient. Customs policies vary from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for more information. Customs clearance procedures may cause delays and extend our quoted delivery time estimates, for which we cannot be liable.

PLEASE NOTE – We cannot currently deliver to Russia, Ukraine or Belarus.

We expect to have the books finished and ready to ship in autumn 2024. Updates will be posted on social media and via the website subscriber email as we go.
