The postage, packaging and handling cost is based on the books being packed into double walled cartons, custom made for these items. The books will be surrounded by thick foam on six sides to ensure safe delivery.
During this time of pandemic and global crisis, delivery options are more limited than usual and some courier services more expensive and less reliable due to a shortage of flights for air cargo.
For ‘Stardust’ there will be only one option for delivery and the cost dependant on where you are in the world.
For multiple purchases we can combine international deliveries to a certain extent. The first delivery will be charged at the stated price for your part of the world. Additional deliveries will be charged at 50% of the first cost. For example – if you buy 3 books in the USA, your shipping cost would be £45 + £22.50 + £22.50. A total cost of £90. Unfortunately this is not possible with UK deliveries so each item delivered in the UK will cost the same shipping amount.
The books will all be sent out with express courier services, meaning they are in transit for the minimum time possible. For the USA, FedEx are usually able to deliver from the UK within 48 hours. Similarly, with Canada and Europe.
Deliveries in the UK will be sent via a 24 hour courier service.
Deliveries elsewhere in the world will vary but I would hope that they will deliver within a few days. All services will be fully trackable and you will be sent a tracking number when the parcel is sent out for delivery.
Hopefully, with any future projects, the choice of delivery options will widen when things have returned to something closer to normality.
I expect production of these books to take around 3 months. Delivery expected some time in October. I will keep social media and website subscribers updated with news.
